Description: The Porter Rockwell Trial starts at the Draper City Park at 1300 east and 12500 south. It follows the Union Pacific railway and ends at about 14500 south Bangerter Highway.
Comments: A great family ride. Park at the Draper City Park and ride the bike path to Bangerter. When you turn around and come back, it'll be 7 miles total. A fine ride to take with the kids.

This quiet ride on gentle rolling hills is perfect for the kids. There's a wide bike path and only a couple of quieter roads to cross.

Pleasant ride, with a little wildlife, and once when I was there, a spectacular sight of about twenty hang-gliders and parasails near the Point of the Mountain. There is at least one water fountain along the trail. One other thing: this map, as of July '09, is out of date. The trail appears to have been extended beyond 14600 South.
