Description: The ride starts in American Fork and heads sound on the east side of Utah Lake. After Springville it heads west to Lincoln Point, around West Mountain and down to Genola. Then up to Benjamin, around the airport and back on the route to American Fork.
Comments: The BBTC's 22nd annual ULCER (Utah Lake Century Epic Ride) stayed to the east of Utah lake for 2006. This new route put together by the Bonneville Bicycle and Tandem Club reduced the wind and got riders out of the rolling hills to the west. The ride was quite flat this year with only one barely noticable 300 foot climb just after the half way point. The weather was about perfect and Rob did a fabulous job of managing the logistics of the event. As always, many thanks to all the wonderful riders we met along the way.
